Performance across sessions, so you can see what's improving or slipping. The filter button opens the same sheet as the Logbook: type, boat, and range (All Time, Last N sessions, Today, This Week/Month/Quarter/Year, or a Custom range).
- Summary tiles — sessions, time on the water, average and top speed, best upwind / downwind VMG, maneuvers per session, tack loss, and speed variance. "Best" VMG is a 90th-percentile figure — what you hold on the beat when it's going well, not one lucky fix.
- Trends — any metric per session over time, with your average marked. Between a light day and a breezy one, prefer the condition-independent ones: tack/gybe loss % and consistency.
- Coach — what's improving or worsening: boat speed, upwind VMG, maneuver discipline, tack loss, consistency, and time on the water.
- Recommended Training — up to three workouts aimed at your biggest gaps in the range, each with the evidence and a Start button; tap the row to preview it. Tack and gybe recommendations use only sessions with a set wind, and come up when a quarter or more of your tacks (or gybes) — at least three — lost far more speed than your usual one; a race of steady tacks doesn't trigger one however slow they all were, because that isn't something a tacking drill fixes.
- Session report cards — each session with its conditions and scores, arrowed against your rolling baseline.
Sessions shorter than five minutes, or with no recorded speed, are left out of the tiles, trends, Coach and Recommended Training — a test recording or a false start says nothing about how the boat sails, and one 0.0 kt minute would halve your average. They still count in the session total at the top and appear in the list. The Coach needs four sessions in the range before it calls a trend in speed up, down or steady.
Summaries are computed once and cached, so the tab stays fast across a season. The watch shows a lighter version: pick a range and type, then headline trend tiles and the top insights.
